Morganna Love is an opera singer and actress born in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato. She has performed in prestigious venues and historical landmarks, including the Palacio de Bellas Artes. Her autobiography In the Right Body (En el cuerpo correcto) was published by Penguin Random House.
Her film projects include the documentary based on her life and fervent struggle for her identity, Made in Bangkok (Flavio Florencio, 2015), which premiered in the Premio Maguey competition and was nominated for an Ariel Award. In 2017, she starred in Oasis (Alejandro Zuno), winner of the Ariel Award for Best Fiction Short.
She has participated in various television series, including Crónica de Castas, Rosario Tijeras, La muchacha que limpia, and the tv programs Como dice el dicho and La Voz, Mexico, where she was a semifinalist.
For two years in a row she was named one of the 100 most powerful Mexican women by Forbes magazine, and one of the women to follow by Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire magazines.
